Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing various construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and a solid understanding of project management principles.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and allocate resources effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure compliance with project requirements.
- Utilize project management software such as ProCore, HeavyBid, Primavera, and Civil 3D for tracking project progress and documentation.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor construction progress and address any issues that may arise.
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, including contractors, clients, and team members.
- Support the preparation of project reports and documentation for internal review and client presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
- Experience in construction management or project management is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in project management software (ProCore, HeavyBid, Primavera) is a plus.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Familiarity with blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Clean driving record is required.
