Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Parts Sales Specialist to join our team in the agriculture industry. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of agricultural equipment parts and be passionate about helping customers find the right solutions to keep their equipment running efficiently. As a Parts Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing sales, assisting customers with parts inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert knowledge and recommendations to customers on agricultural parts and equipment.
- Process sales orders accurately, including selecting, sourcing, and delivering parts to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to drive repeat business and customer loyalty.
- Maintain inventory levels, ensuring stock is updated and that product availability is managed effectively.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to reorder stock and support demand forecasting.
- Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and providing technical support related to parts.
- Stay up to date on new products, promotions, and trends within the agricultural equipment parts market.
- Provide quotes and follow up on leads, converting inquiries into sales.
- Meet and exceed sales targets by utilizing effective sales strategies and customer engagement.
- Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., service, shipping) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of parts.
- Maintain accurate and organized sales records and reports.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (college or technical degree is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in agriculture, automotive, or industrial parts.
- In-depth knowledge of agricultural equipment and parts, or the ability to quickly learn.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on understanding customer needs and providing solutions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work well in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Proficient in the use of computer systems, including order management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in an agricultural parts or service environment.
- Familiarity with agricultural machinery brands and their corresponding parts.
- Experience with inventory management and order fulfillment systems.
- Knowledge of basic mechanical principles related to agricultural equipment.
