Job Summary:
•Manage subcontracts and represent Supply Chain organization at various levels on functional and cross-functional teams to drive business success.
•Prepare subcontract documentation in accordance with established company, customer and government regulations.
•Evaluate, identify, and select suppliers and business partners.
•Work closely with Program Office representatives and Engineering to define and implement procurement strategies and develop subcontract Statements of Work.
•Solicit proposals from prospective subcontractors and employ value analysis techniques to analyze cost/price, technical capability and financial viability, conducting investigations to ensure ability to perform within cost and schedule.
•Negotiate and administer Firm Fixed Price subcontracts.
•Monitor and report cost, schedule and status of subcontractors, and recommend or implement corrective action as necessary.
•Generate and negotiate Teaming Agreements and other related agreements.
Required Skills:
•Minimum 5 years of supply chain, subcontract management, or related experience in a function such as business, operations, proposals or compliance.
•Experience in applying critical thinking skills to solve complex problems
•Experience making presentations (verbal and/or written) to key stakeholders
•Experience grasping / understanding technical concepts
•Demonstrated experience in managing suppliers or projects
•Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
•Detail oriented and able to work multiple projects simultaneously
•Experience in desktop tools (MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint)
Desired Skills:
•Experience with Firm Fixed Price (FFP) subcontract type
•Prior experience working in the defense industry
•Working knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR and DFARS)
•Experience with SAP or PRISM
•Experience with import/export regulations (ITAR/EAR)
•Experience in desktop computing tools (MS Project)
•Ability to obtain and/or maintain a US Government Security Clearance
Required Education:
•Bachelor’s Degree required
This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.

Typically requires:
A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
Engineering/Other Technical Positions:
Typically requires a degree in Science,Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 5 years of prior relevant experience unless prohibited by local laws/regulations.
