- GENERAL DESCRIPTION
- The Intermediate Accountant is responsible for maintaining and reconciling financial records, preparing journal entries, financial analysis, project work, assisting in the preparation of financial statements, forecasting, budgets, audits, and performing general bookkeeping duties. Supports and serves as a backup for the financial staff and contributes to month-end and year-end closing processes.
- EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in accounting, finance, or a related field required.
- Strong critical thinking skills.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
- Strong ability to perform with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Word and Excel.
- Proven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to read and analyze financial reports.
- Strong understanding of US tax regulations
- Strong ability to communicate in writing and speaking, as well as good organizational skills.
- Detailed oriented with excellent ability to analyze data and circumstances.
- Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously, work effectively in a team environment and meet deadlines.
