General Description

  • The Sterile Processing Tech performs decontamination, cleaning, assembling, packaging, sterilization, storage, and distribution of reusable surgical instrumentation and equipment.

EDUCATION & TRAINING REQUIREMENTS

    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
    • Basic Life Support certification required or ability to obtain upon hire.
    • Central Supply Processing Department Technician (CSPDT), or Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) certification preferred.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • One year of sterile processing experience preferred.
  • Computer skills (eg, Microsoft® PowerPoint, Word, Excel) preferred.
