The agency has an immediate opening for an Account Supervisor who is a high-energy, creative individual with agency experience. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful leader, a trusted advisor to clients, an impressive writer, and a creative thinker with a knack for uncovering compelling stories. This person is adept at leading significant client interaction and setting client strategy, and has deep experience drafting bylined articles, pitching top-tier and trade media, and guiding junior staff.

What You’ll Do:
- Own your accounts. You manage multiple accounts with ease, earning the confidence of both your clients and our leadership team. You will serve as a go-to client contact and manage daily activities on accounts to meet (and exceed!) client expectations, with minimal oversight.
- Think strategically. You help set the course for your accounts, develop PR plans, set account strategies and identify opportunities. You will also play a part in annual planning, developing new business proposals and supporting crisis communications matters, as needed.
- Write with confidence. You absorb new information with ease and can transcribe that knowledge into impactful press releases, bylined articles, blog posts, media responses, and social media posts.
- Be an avid consumer of the news and a media expert. You keep an eye on industry trends and know how to spot opportunities for the agency and our clients. You craft compelling pitches and have strong relationships with journalists at local, national and trade publications.
- Lead and mentor. You are a trusted advisor to junior staff, helping them grow through regular check-ins and identifying development opportunities.
- Manage budgets and resources. You keep client teams on track, ensuring hours are allocated appropriately and resources are used effectively.
What You Bring:
- At least 5 - 7 years of PR agency experience
- Deep experience and comfort leading client accounts
- Exceptional writing skills
- Proven media pitching success and established journalist relationships
- Experience in digital communications, including social media, influencer relations, and SEO
- Familiarity in B2B and consumer PR in any of the following industries: professional services, legal, healthcare, financial services, environmental, higher education, consumer packaged goods
- Experience in crisis communications
- Familiarity with video, podcasting, photography and / or design a decided plus
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, journalism or related field, preferred.
