Customer Service Supervisor

Emhart Glass is looking for a Customer Service Supervisor to coordinate all customer service functions within our parts business department. This position supervises and directs a team of five customer service representatives who support the sales department by responding to customers’ inquiries regarding parts, repairs and warranties.

The successful candidate’s responsibilities and tasks will include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinates CCP activities necessary to support quotations, customer purchase orders, acknowledgments, specifications, shipments and deliveries.
  • Assigns tasks and responsibilities to support the smooth and consistent flow of communications and processes necessary to achieve an accurate, synchronized sales administration and customer support function.
  • Supports CCP team by providing assistance during absences or periods of excessive workload.
  • Remains a customer advocate with Manufacturing and Quality departments to ensure that customer requests are implemented, and complaints are corrected wherever possible.
  • Identifies training needs of CCP staff.
  • Supports L&M Parts Distribution Warehouses by regular monitoring of staging reports, processing of inventory transactions, and requirement scheduling as related to customer orders.
  • Supports other CCP Supervisors as needed in critical situations as related to customer orders.
  • Participates in team/department meetings and/or training which may involve periodic travel, providing input and suggestions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 7-10 years of customer service experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
  • Knowledge of import/export terminology and processes strongly preferred.

Pay: From $72,000.00 per year
