Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Ranch Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for agriculture and animal care, along with the ability to operate various types of farm machinery and equipment. This role is essential in maintaining the daily operations of the ranch, ensuring the well-being of livestock, and supporting various activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care for animals, including feeding, watering, and monitoring their health.
• Help on slaughter floor.
• Operate and maintain farm machinery and heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Assist in the handling and general husbandry of livestock.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tools, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Utilize hand tools for various tasks around the ranch as needed.
• Manage pastureland by rotating grazing animals and maintaining fencing.
• Assist with planting, cultivating, and harvesting crops as required.
• Keep accurate records of animal health, feed inventory, and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Previous experience in farming or ranching is preferred but not mandatory.
• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as tractors.
• Strong skills in animal care and handling; knowledge of animal husbandry practices is a plus.
• Ability to perform welding tasks for repairs on farm machinery or structures is desirable.
• Familiarity with hand tools used in agricultural settings.
• Excellent physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols on the ranch.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
