Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn while contributing to various construction projects. This role involves working with a variety of materials and tools, assisting in the completion of tasks related to roofing, gutters, and other construction activities. The Laborer will play a vital role in ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.
Responsibilities
- Assist in metal stud framing and remodeling projects.
- Support masonry work, including bricklaying and block laying.
- Help with concrete forming for foundations and structures.
- Utilize power tools safely and effectively for various tasks.
- Read and interpret schematics to understand project requirements.
- Perform trim carpentry duties, including installing moldings and finishes.
- Collaborate with carpenters and other tradespeople on-site.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
Experience
- Previous experience in construction or labor-intensive roles is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to operate power tools and understand basic construction techniques.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- A willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Compensation & Benefits
· Rate: $22 - $26/hour depending on experience/capabilities
· Benefits: Medical & Dental Eligibility after 60 Days
· Retirement: 401k with company match after 1 Year
