What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Painter position at Buckeye Fire & Equipment Co?
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter and Blaster to join our growing team!
Responsibilities:
- Set up, run, and maintain painting and blasting equipment
- Prepare surfaces before painting
- Must be able to adapt to changing schedule/project/location.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Experience in Spray Galvanizing, Spray Powder Coat/Oven operations, and Wet Spray preferred.
- Manual High-Volume Sandblasting Experience preferred.
- Must be able to work on solo projects and as a member of a team.
- Ability to follow directions and procedures.
- Exceptional safety and quality awareness.
- Strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in physical demanding work conditions.
PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Sitting or standing for periods of time;
- walking, climbing, crawling, bending, twisting or stooping;
- may be exposed to noise, dust, fumes, vibrations if stepping into a manufacturing area;
- could be exposed to heat or humidity, cold or outside elements;
- PPE required while in manufacturing areas.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
