Description
Overview: As a Quality Technician I, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Quality Management System (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will play a vital role in conducting quality inspections, performing tests, and analyzing data to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Inspections (With Supervision):

- Conduct visual and dimensional inspections of in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Functional testing of handheld extinguishers to UL requirements.
- Documentation and Reporting (With Supervision):

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inspection results, test data, and quality documentation.
- Communicate quality issues and discrepancies to appropriate quality leadership team.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a quality assurance or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 quality management system requirements and quality assurance principles preferred.
- Proficiency in conducting quality inspections preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data collection and documentation.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Self-starter with experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications and basic computer skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by Lead or Supervisor.
