Buckeye Partners is currently seeking a Quality Document Specialist with experience compiling and auditing petroleum pipeline, terminal and/or processing facility construction, maintenance and regulatory records to join our growing team!
Role Summary
The Quality Document Specialist is responsible for coordinating the flow of documents between various teams and auditing project records to Company and regulatory standards. This role includes, organizing essential project data related to construction and maintenance projects, maintaining an accurate filing system, and offering support to engineering and construction teams on various initiatives. The ideal candidate will have experience in oil and gas or commercial construction quality management, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities Include
- Simultaneously support multiple project teams in the collection, and audit of project records.
- Liaise between onsite project teams and Company Project Managers to gather, compile, and organize project documentation and records.
- Ensure all project records are compliant with Company policy, industry recommended practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor key project milestones to ensure project documents and records are provided for audit in a timely manner.
- Conduct onsite inspections and audits to monitor adherence to quality standards and identify areas for improvement.
- Convert project records to specified file formats as needed.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintaining of quality control procedures and protocols.
- Identify non-conformance and compliance issues, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with key project stakeholders to ensure quality standards are met throughout the entirety of the project.
- Stay current with industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to quality control.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management, other technical discipline or comparable industry experience or certifications.
- 2 years of experience in quality control, documentation management, or a related field.
- Oil and/or gas pipeline industry experience specializing in regulatory compliance, commercial construction/project management, or pipeline operations is a plus.
- Proficient in document management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Up to 25% travel
- Industry acknowledged certifications helpful.
- Ability to work as an effective team member.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
