We are seeking a Business Development Executive to join our team at Buckeye Trailers, a leading manufacturer of trailers in northeast Ohio. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, developing strong relationships with clients and prospects, and staying up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions.
This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent communication skills, who can travel frequently and be comfortable with phone sales. Prior outside sales experience is necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategies to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
- Customize trailers for specific customer needs.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and market conditions.
- Source and identify new markets for growth and communicate directly with management and marketing.
- Generate leads through social media and other channels.
- Work with financing to secure customer approvals.
- Maintain relationships with customers and ensure their units are produced on time.
- Meet sales quotas and goals.
