What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Warehouse Clerk position at Buckhead Meat and Seafood?
JOB SUMMARY
Controls and monitors inventory levels using the most cost-effective methods. Also may provide clerical and administrative support to warehouse management in regards to inventory control. Aids Inventory Control Supervisor and Warehouse Manager
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for daily physical cycle counts
- Keep Manager / Supervisor informed, as needed, of potential problems and changes
- Complete inventory and warehouse reports daily
- Assist and coordinate all physical inventories as called for EOM close
- Works closely with all departments regarding merchandise received, new items, all inventories, to assure a continuous flow of information
- Adhere it Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) Guidelines
- Generates daily reports on all items requiring approval.
- Clerical duties : answering phone, filing, responding to inquiries, photocopying, etc.
- Other duties as assigned by Management

QUALIFICATIONS
Education
HSD or equivalent preferred
Experience
The position also requires the ability to operate a 10-key touchpad
