About the Company
The partnership manager demonstrates our value to the consumer finance community, sells our risk monitoring and control tools to lenders and other key stakeholders, and forms mutually beneficial relationships and programs with our partners to drive customer referrals.
Responsibilities
- Build relationships with our most important partners:
- Ensure we are the preferred banking and cash management partner for lenders, fractional CFOs, private equity firms, accountants, and real estate companies that service consumer brands.
- Develop a deep understanding of what our partners care about.
- Develop an ecosystem of preferred financial partners for our brands: Lock-in co-marketing agreements where we refers our brands to our best preferred partners in exchange for co-marketing and a small commission.
- Sell our product to lenders and other financial stakeholders: Demonstrate the value of our banking and cash analysis tools for better risk monitoring and controls, and close business.
- Drive cross-promotional opportunities: Everything from dinners, events, and webinars. Ensure we are working with our partners to generate new business.
- Partnership strategy: You’ll work with the executive teams to develop partnership sales strategies, agreements, pricing, and new product features.
Required Skills
- Able to work in person in either NYC
- 5 years of experience in similar roles in finance or fintech, with deep expertise and relationships with potential banking and fintech partners
- Direct experience working with lenders, fractional CFOs, private equity firms, accountants, and real estate companies
- Strong tenure and high performance in previous roles (quick promotions, clear articulable achievements, increase in responsibilities)
- Experience building out a partnerships function from 0 to 1
- Strong finance background
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- The ability to anticipate with a bias towards action
