Job Summary:
As the HR Manager, you will serve as the on-site HR leader, overseeing all aspects of human resources, including employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting, and workforce compliance. This role requires a hands-on, adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and can effectively support both hourly and salaried employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and management, handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and workplace investigations.
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process, ensuring the right talent is brought in to support operational needs.
- Administer benefits programs, including health insurance, 401(k), and wellness initiatives, ensuring high employee engagement.
- Oversee time and attendance systems, ensuring payroll processing accuracy and labor laws compliance.
- Lead and coordinate wellness events and employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including safety regulations and HR policies tailored for a manufacturing workforce.
- Partner with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals.
- Maintain accurate HR records and reporting using HRIS and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or a related field (required).
✔ 5 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
✔ Strong knowledge of employee relations, benefits administration, recruiting, and compliance.
✔ Proficiency in Windows-based systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
✔ Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work as an on-site HR leader.
✔ Ability to balance strategic HR initiatives with hands-on daily HR responsibilities.
✔ Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test
Salary : $120,000 - $150,000
