Position Summary*
Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, the Human Resources Generalist is responsible for daily operations, support, and administration of all transactional HR processes for all locations.

Key Responsibilities: *
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) for all relevant legislations and Company policies, and HR support for all offices
- Key administrator for the workforce management system/time and attendance solution
- Bi-weekly payroll administration including government remittances
- Group Benefit Administration including employee enrollments, employee inquiries, analysis of monthly billing statements and assist with annual analysis of benefits program
- Conduct New Employee Orientation and onboarding
- Health & Safety compliance, Short Term Disability, and Workers Compensation administration and related projects
- Training and development program administration including updating employee training records
- Assist recruiter with ADA-Compliant Job Descriptions and safe hiring practices in accordance with laws including background check processes and review of employment application in accordance with State laws (i.e. Ban the Box Legislation)
- Work in collaboration with the HR team on special projects (i.e. implementation of software, compile HR metrics, Employee Opinion Survey, Time and Attendance system enhancements)

The ideal candidate will bring: *
- Minimum 5 years of general human resources experience particularly in legislation implementation and interpretation, health & safety, and labor standards
- Minimum 2 years payroll and benefit administration experience
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Diploma in Human Resources Management
- Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Ceridian payroll software – Freedom, Dayforce
- A commitment to continuous improvement in HR processes
- General understanding of Mexican HR regulations and laws is an asset
- Ability to travel to branch offices as well as Canada
