Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized File Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and organizing files, both physical and electronic, ensuring that all documents are easily accessible and up to date. This role requires strong clerical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time effectively. The File Clerk will play a crucial role in supporting the administrative functions of our organization.
Responsibilities
- Organizing, managing, and maintaining documents and records.
- Ensure that files and various media are properly logged, sorted, and easily accessible when needed.
- Filing and sorting documents and files based on established systems .
- Ensuring that files are stored in a secure and organized manner.
- Assisting in the digitization of paper documents and implementing electronic filing system.
Skills
- High School Diploma
- Ability to operate general office equipment (i.e. computer, telephone, photocopy)
- Typing skills minimum 35 WPM
- Ability to move and relocate boxes weighing 25-40 pounds as needed.
- Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy in all tasks performed.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: Up to $16.59 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
