Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide assistance in selecting cannabis products based on their preferences and needs.
- Educate customers about various strains, products, and consumption methods to enhance their understanding of cannabis.
- Operate the cash register efficiently, handling cash transactions and ensuring accurate cash handling procedures.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor, ensuring products are displayed attractively.
- Utilize retail math skills to assist with inventory management and stock replenishment.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional products that complement customer purchases.
- Maintain compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries or taking orders over the phone.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in grocery or cannabis sales.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a positive shopping experience for all customers.
- Experience with cash handling and operating a cash register accurately.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also demonstrating independent problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of cannabis products is preferred; willingness to learn is essential.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized stock levels on the sales floor.
- Must be at least 21 years of age as per state regulations governing the sale of cannabis products.
