Title : Coordinator for Diversity, Community Outreach & Education Job Class : Salaried Employee, range dependent upon experience Job Summary : The Director of Community Outreach & Education will assess, design, implement and evaluate programs and initiatives for all the non-profits that Bud & Mary's plan to collaborate with and / or support.
This role will be required to interface with executive management as well as B&M employees.
This position directly reports to the President of B&M.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities : Maintain a friendly, courteous and compassionate demeanor at all times.
Adhere to company mission statement, core values, and core competencies while maintaining high ethical standards and professionalism Provide feedback, coaching and performance management to employees when necessary, and in line with the company's core competencies and core values Serve as the point person for B&M to ensure all aspects for hiring / staffing required under the Economic Empowerment application are met and maintained Identify nonprofit organizations from areas of disproportionate impact which Bud & Mary's may potentially wish to support Conduct a review of the nonprofit organizations to ensure their "good standing" and viability, and make recommendations to Bud & Mary regarding appropriate support Serve as liaison in regard to ongoing relationships with selected nonprofits Develop a plan for ongoing, annual community outreach and education activities in selected areas, including activities to build community consensus for and education about adult use cannabis, designed within the parameters of the outreach and education budget approved by Bud & Mary's Design a system for ensuring appropriate documentation of all outreach and education activities, including evaluation of the outcomes of such activities Will serve as lead to Bud & Mary's outreach team if applicable Oversee the team's ongoing training, ensuring they are skilled in general aspects of cultural competency, and in properly documenting outreach and education activities, including expenditures Oversee the team's work in carrying out the agreed-upon outreach and education activities, and provide employees with feedback and suggestions for improvement, to ensure high quality outreach and education Stay Current with Cannabis Knowledge Perform all duties as assigned and the business demands Qualifications : Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field - preferred but not required 2 years of experience in marketing and outreach - preferred but not required Experience in the Cannabis Industry - preferred but not required Knowledge of Medical Cannabis Program rules and patient card application process Must obtain or be able to obtain proper cannabis badging requirements as required by MA state law Proven organizational skills Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization Leadership and interpersonal skills Ability to travel to events and locations as needed Excellent organizational and communication skills
