Overview
At Bud & Mary's, we believe that our people are our greatest asset. As an AP Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our premier cannabis operation. The AP Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of bills, payments and maintaining strong relationships with vendors. This position offers an opportunity to excel in accounts payable operations within a dynamic and supportive work environment.
Pay range: $45000 to $48200 per year
Required skills
- Receive, review, and process invoices accurately and timely. Verify coding, approvals, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Prepare and execute payments to vendors via check, ACH, or wire transfer, adhering to payment terms and schedules.
- Communicate professionally with vendors to resolve discrepancies, answer inquiries, and maintain positive relationships.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to accounts payable, including reconciliations and accruals.
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions. Generate reports and provide analysis as needed.
- Ad Hoc Analysis and Projects: Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by the Accounting Manager.
- Assist with accounting filing and record keeping
