What are the responsibilities and job description for the Human Resource Assistant-Mandarin Speaking position at Buddhist Tzu Chi Education Foundation?
Responsibilities:
- Complete all new hire documentation in compliance with states and government regulations
- Monitor the status of associates on leave of absence, including workers compensation
- Ensure that timely and accurate distribution of associate related communications
- Process benefit enrollment, changes, termination with the benefit providers
- Organize, maintain and update personnel files
- Data entry of new employees’ information
- Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company’s Vision, Mission, and Values in all interactions with all Tzu Chi employees
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
- Assist to manage payroll processing and time card management
- Assist to maintain an understanding of policies, procedures and regulations relevant to human resources
- Assist to follow up on performance improvement plans and work on any compliance issues
- Assist to investigate reports and resolve associate complaints and issues
- Researches various types of grants available and the criteria to qualify for each
- Drafts and completes grant applications according to application requirements
- Coordinates the monitoring and evaluation of programs and projects funded by grants.
- Perform all other duties as assigned

9.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
10.Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems.
Education: Degree: Bachelor or higher Major: HR management related
Experience: Evidence of at least one year of the related experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $23.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
