SUMMARY
The Sales Support Specialist provides professional and administrative support in a range of roles to key members of the Leadership Team including the President, Vice Presidents of Sales and Vice President, Supply Chain. The Sales Support Specialist’s goal is to ensure that every touchpoint that a customer has with the company exceeds their expectations, This position will report directly to the VP, Supply Chain with secondary accountability to the sales team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Provide support for sales team including presentation decks, analysis, research, materials, and guidance.
- Prepare targeted sales reports including trends and prepare graphs reflecting internal and market information.
- Manage sales tracking tools.
- Liaison with Sales Team members.
- Work with cross-functional teams to report inventory patterns reflecting trends and forecasts.
- Prepare impactful professional sales sheets.
- Participate in strategic customer meetings and accurately communicate needs, timing, and action steps across departments.
- Maintain active communication and engagement with all other departments to help where necessary.
- Provide readiness, preparation and event support for food shows and customer workshops.
- Serve as primary point of contact for website updates.
- Regular and predictable attendance.
- Maintain behaviors that support our CORE VALUES.
- Other duties as assigned.
This position is on-site in our Lakeville, MN facility.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
The position has no supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent and at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Associate degree or equivalent preferred.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) required.
- High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Must be an enthusiastic initiative-taker, resourceful, highly dependable, and able to establish and maintain priorities.
- Demonstrated listening skills, ability to clearly present ideas verbally and in writing.
- Ability to shift seamlessly between multiple projects occurring at one time.
- Highly organized and efficient. Must have good time management skills and work well under deadlines with time constraints.
- High attention to detail as well as being a person with excellent customer service knowledge.
