Installation Specialist for Window Coverings

Are you respectful, detail oriented, honest, and hardworking? This position is ideal for an efficient, organized person who likes to work with their hands and finds reward through accomplishment. A typical day starts with organizing and loading the truck with the day’s installations. Next you drive to a sweet job site and get thanked for showing up! Then you need to talk with our customers, review their expectations, and plan out the install. To finish up, you get to install custom window coverings and teach our customers how to operate and care for their new window covering investment. Lastly, there’s some paperwork to fill out.
If this sounds appealing, our ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience speaking with customers.
- Has an eye for detail and enjoys seeing a project completed correctly.
- Finds solutions, not excuses.
- Enjoys working independently without direct supervision.
- Can problem solve on the fly.
- Current driver’s license, clean driving record and dependable transportation.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
- Ability to climb a ladder and is not afraid of heights.
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel and reach.
- Knowledge of hand tools and basic carpentry skills.
- Has the ability to read a tape measure and perform addition of fractions.
- Experience in window covering installation or trim carpentry is a real plus.
