Waiter/Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each customer feels valued and satisfied. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a passion for food service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly manner.
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Aloha POS system.
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
• Manage cash handling transactions efficiently and accurately.
• Assist guests with menu selections, including upselling specials or promotions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area throughout service.
• Address any guest inquiries or concerns promptly to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or as a server is preferred but not required.
• Strong basic math skills for handling cash and processing transactions.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.
• Experience with OpenTable or similar reservation systems is beneficial.
• Ability to effectively upsell menu items to enhance guest experience.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor are essential.
• Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: From $10.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
