Duties
- Greet and seat guests promptly upon arrival, ensuring they feel welcomed.
- Present menus and provide detailed information about menu items, including daily specials.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the Toast POS system.
- Serve food and drinks in a timely manner while ensuring presentation meets quality standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their dining experience and address any concerns promptly.
- Process payments accurately using cash register systems.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests.
- Adhere to food safety and handling guidelines to ensure a safe dining environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of orders.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with cash register operations and basic math skills for processing transactions.
- Strong guest service skills with an emphasis on guest relations and satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
- A culinary background or experience with kitchen operations is a plus.
