What are the responsibilities and job description for the Growth & Operations Manager - Multi Unit position at Buff City Soap Westlake LLC?
This position is to be a multi-store manager of two Buff City Soap (“BCS”) franchise store locations. Buff City Soap is a fast-growing scent and beauty product company that began in Memphis, Tennessee in 2011. Since that time, the brand has grown to over 260 locations across the U.S.
You will be working for PACE Management, LLC, a family-owned organization that operates BCS stores across Texas and Colorado with 14 BCS locations. The stores you will be managing are in Houston Heights and Pearland, TX.
Compensation and Benefits:
Your base salary will be $60,000 annually. As a salaried manager, you will also be eligible for quarterly bonuses based on your individual performance and the financial performance of your stores. You will also be eligible for contests and special awards for various promotions and special events that the company may engage in. You will not be required to clock in or out, however, we expect you to work at least 40 hours per week. Through the regular course of business, you may be required to work overtime, although you will not receive additional compensation. You will be given a travel stipend based on mileage to commute between the Houston Heights and Pearland locations. You will be eligible for two weeks of Paid-Time-Off (“PTO”) on an annual basis. You will also be eligible to participate in our benefits and healthcare program (details to be provided).
If you plan to leave this position, we require a two-weeks’ notice. However, we may terminate your employment at any time.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
-Ensure the smooth operation of your two locations including managing the following:
-Payroll and labor management
-Inventory and ordering management
-Personel decisions including hiring and termination of employees
-Management of the production of our products
-Community outreach including securing business partnerships, bulk orders, and local markets/events
-Training and coaching of your team, including ensuring completion of our learning courses
-Sales-focused culture that provides exquisite guest experiences
-Booking and execution of Ladies’ Nights Out and Kid’s Bath Bomb Parties
-Performing monthly physical inventory counts and making adjustments as needed
-Merchandising and organizing the sales floor in an effective, thoughtful manner
-Staying current on BCS Corporate initiatives and sales promotions/discounts
-Collaborating with your peer group of managers at other locations to share best practices and ideas
-As this is a traditional retail, storefront business we are open on Saturdays, Sundays and many holidays. As the manager, you will be expected to work on some of those days and be available for phone consultation on most of those days.
- You will need to have reliable transportation to/from the stores.
Ship-From-Store (SFS) Business:
The Pearland, TX store is an Ship-From-Store (“SFS”) location, which means you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of this business. Every day, you will receive tickets ordered from guests buying our products online. Each day, we must fulfill these orders in a timely and accurate fashion. You will be trained in the operation of our SFS business, but it will be up to you to ensure the success of this business.
