DATES: July 7-24, 2025
HOURS: July 7-Preparation 8-4; July 8-24 Monday - Thursday, 8:00am – 12pm; July 24-Close-Up 12:00-3:00
LOCATION: Buff Elementary
DEFINITION: ESY (Extended School Year) School Teachers will provide specially designed instruction to students who are identified as requiring special education services during the summer months.
Pay: $40/hr
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare and implement lessons addressing individualized goals
- Monitor student progress.
- Work cooperatively with all summer school staff.
- Direct and assist educational assistants working with students.
- Complete essential paperwork and direct IEP requirements.
- Follow specified standards, policies and procedures of the building and district.
- Fulfill other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Valid Oregon Teaching License
- Special Education Teacher Endorsement preferred
