Duties
- Perform installations of automotive components, including auto glass, using industry-standard techniques and tools.
- Utilize airless paint spraying equipment for finishing touches on installations.
- Conduct thorough inspections of installed products to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively during installation processes.
- Engage in buffing and auto painting tasks as needed to enhance the appearance of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members to estimate project requirements and timelines accurately.
- Handle heavy lifting as required during the installation process, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety regulations.
Skills
- Proficient in welding techniques is a plus for certain installation tasks.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Experience working in a dealership or similar automotive environment is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with auto estimating processes to provide accurate project assessments.
