Your day to day as a Development Officer
The Development Officer at The Buffalo History Museum is essential to advancing our mission by nurturing relationships with donors, members, and stakeholders. This dynamic position requires a detail-oriented professional who will lead strategic fundraising initiatives, including the development and implementation of annual plans for individual giving, corporate partnerships, and special events. You will launch the Museum's inaugural mid-level and monthly giving campaigns while managing a small portfolio of major donors to ensure retention and growth. In addition, you will actively cultivate relationships with donors and oversee membership acquisition strategies to create a robust member-to-donor pipeline.
You will collaborate closely with the Director of Advancement and Advancement Team to manage budgets and fundraising goals. You will foster a collaborative environment that aligns fundraising efforts with our organizational goals for sustainable growth and community impact.
