Job Summary :
The Truss Designer will prepare take-offs for the Residential Estimating & Purchasing department. The position requires interaction with customers, field staff, and Project Coordinators. The Estimator reports directly to the Design Manager.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare framing estimates for Residential projects.
- Review plans and adjust take-offs for scope of work changes.
- Maintain database of construction estimates.
- Analyze material variances.
- Communicate with field personnel.
- Analyze estimating processes.
- Work closely with team to ensure all deadlines are met.
