Buffalo Hearing & Speech Center has an opening for a full-time Human Resource Assistant. This position is located at our North Street location (free onsite parking!) and is scheduled to work Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm for a total of 37.5 hours/week. This position has the possibility of working remote 1-2 days/week once training is completed.

The HR Assistant will support the HR department with a variety of HR functions including, but not limited to:

• Assists in coordination of employee onboarding, including new hire paperwork;
• Assists in HRIS and Personnel file maintenance;
• Creates templates for HR policies and forms;
• Assists in development and documentation of department processes and procedures;
• Filing, scanning and uploading documents;
• Reference checking and past employment verifications, in support of recruiting processes;
• Provides administrative assistance to HR team;
• Triage matters to appropriate team member;
• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration preferred

Minimum Experience Required: Minimum of 1 year related office experience. Human Resource experience is a plus.
