Scheduling Coordinator

As a Scheduling Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be coordinating and maintaining the schedules of Caregivers to meet the authorization needs of our clients. This also includes finding replacement staff for unstaffed shifts or call outs, staffing open hours, and doing your best to provide recurring schedules for our Caregivers that meet their desired working hours.

FT Hours- Monday - Friday 8:30am-4:30pm plus rotating on-call weekends

The Scheduling Coordinator helps in providing the best in home care experience for clients and employees by:

• Ensuring the proper caregiver and client match based on care plans, staff availability, and staff compatibility
• Performing various supervisory activities for scheduling appropriate caregivers to clients, scheduling additional caregiver training as needed, and monitoring of telephone system to ensure compliance of all scheduled visits.
• Maintaining the scheduling systems in real time as it pertains to authorizations, schedules, availability, shift adjustments, documentation, etc
• Answering or making calls to handle client or caregiver questions, concerns, scheduling issues, referrals, and more, in a positive and professional manner

QUALIFICATIONS:

• MUST HAVE- 6 months to 1 year minimum experience in a hospital facility or homecare agency- CUSTOMER SERVICE EXPERIENCE DOES NOT QUALIFY
• Ability to excel as a member of a team
• High school diploma or GED
• Maintain a positive attitude
• Strong phone and technology skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
