Description
Position Purpose:
- To ensure a courteous, elegant, and efficient dining experience to guests.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Responsible for overseeing all activities and operations in all of our F&B venues.
- Works with and assists F&B Supervisors and F&B Shift Managers with operations of their venues.
- Ensure that Team members are familiar with all menu items, specials, and prices.
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints.
- Establish controls to minimize waste and theft.
- Ensure that all food safety ordinances and regulations are followed.
- Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction.
- Verify legal age (21) of patrons ordering alcohol.
- Ensure compliance with ABLE Commission Rules and Alcohol Sale & Distribution Procedures.
- Establish onboarding and training checklists for each position. Follows up with new Team Members to ensure they receive proper training.
- Forecast staffing, hire, train, and schedule team members to ensure team member levels are adequate for business needs.
- Evaluate, coach, and mentor Supervisors, Shift Managers and Team Members as often as necessary to ensure successful operations.
- Enforces departmental policies and procedures.
- Performance management responsibilities, including performance reviews, one on one’s, and 90 day reviews.
- Manage departmental budget. Evaluate sales and recognize trends in order to recommend business strategies and promotions that lead to increased revenues and profitability.
- Ensure compliance with Tip Reporting Procedures and Title 31 requirements.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Education/Qualifications:
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of prior management experience and 3 years in a fine dining atmosphere.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Requires Food Handler's Permit.
Licensing:
- Must be able to obtain and maintain the required Gaming License.
Work Requirements:
Shift: Wed - Sat (4PM-12AM) and Sun (10AM - 6PM)
- Requires problem solving skills, ability to communicate effectively and supervise others, operate a desktop computer. Position involves prolonged sitting, standing or walking, stooping or bending, lifting, or carrying up to 30 pounds on a daily basis. Work is performed in a casino environment with varying levels of lighting, air quality, noise, and / or temperature.
