What are the responsibilities and job description for the Call Center Representative position at BUFFALO THUNDER, INC?
JOB PURPOSE: Develops guest loyalty, relationships and direct marketing programs. Answering inquiries, fulfilling requests and maintaining database. This is an entry level position.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Serve as initial contact and key data entry clerk for Call Center information
- Serve large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner
- Identify and gather information on valuable guests through observation, analysis, personal contact and service
- Fulfills requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
- Provide services to response to guest requirements
- Maintains call center database by entering information
- Conduct informal surveys and queries
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES):
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- Ability to handle a variety of customer requests and personalities
- Must be people oriented.
- Good verbal and written communication skills and active listening
- Skill in using computer and programs
- Basic math skills
REQUIRED EDUCATION OR COMBINATION OF EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience in a customer support role
- Basic computer experience preferred
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
- Office/casino setting; Shift work; Required to work weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Sitting- 100%
- Exposure to cigarette smoke and noise
- Some light lifting and carrying required
