POSITION SUMMARY
The primary role of the Procurement Administrative Assistant is to administer the Procure to Pay (P2P) process across the company’s multiple lines of business.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
•Assist team members with processing PO Requisitions.
•Managing the Purchase Order process.
•Work with Warehouse Assistant, Inventory Coordinator, and Accounting on all Purchase Order coordination.
•Communicate with Vendors, Distributors, and Manufacturers on materials.
•Communicate with Project Managers, Contractors, and Sales on material purchases.
•Communicate with Accounting department to reconcile inventory and provide inventory breakdown for invoices.
•Assist with the organization of the warehouse and work areas for orderliness.
•Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, inventory space and workstations organized.
•Open boxes, crates, and other containers.
•Ensure materials are processed efficiently in WMS database.
•Pick, Stage, and Label materials for projects.
•Assist with inventory on all materials in the warehouse and remote yards.
•Monitor and maintain stock accuracy by ensuring physical stock is in line with the inventory management system.
•Continually work towards improving current purchasing processes.
•Train and guide new warehouse workers.
