The Payroll Specialist will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves a mix of operational, analytical, and supervisory tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timely and accurate payroll processing
- Review payroll reports to ensure accuracy
- Support store teams and human resources
- UKG setup and quarterly/annual year end processing
- Monitor and reconcile UKG invoices and 941 filings
- Monthly and ad hoc reporting as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience processing payroll and payroll taxes
- High School diploma
- Proficiency with UKG
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Proficiency with time and attendance systems
- Multi-state and Canadian payroll experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5 years experience processing payroll and payroll taxes
- Associates degree in any related field
