What are the responsibilities and job description for the Specialist, Payroll - Part-Time position at Build-A-Bear?
The Payroll Specialist will ensure the accurate and timely processing of payroll while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. This role involves a mix of operational, analytical, and supervisory tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Timely and accurate payroll processing
• Review payroll reports to ensure accuracy
• Support store teams and human resources
• UKG setup and quarterly/annual year end processing
• Monitor and reconcile UKG invoices and 941 filings
• Monthly and ad hoc reporting as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience processing payroll and payroll taxes
• High School diploma
• Proficiency with UKG
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
• Proficiency with time and attendance systems
• Multi-state and Canadian payroll experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 5 years experience processing payroll and payroll taxes
• Associates degree in any related field
