About You
You are a seasoned family law attorney with at least 5 years of experience, driven by a passion for advocacy and a commitment to excellence. You're ready to elevate your career within a highly respected firm, bring or build your own book of business, and work on complex, high-impact cases.
- Strategic Thinker: You excel at crafting innovative legal strategies for complex family law matters
- Client-Focused Advocate: You offer clients guidance, clarity, and confidence during emotionally charged situations

- Growth-Oriented: You have a goal to become Board Certified and continuously enhance your expertise
- Detail-Oriented & Resilient: You thrive under pressure, manage a busy docket, and remain composed in high-conflict cases
- Manage & grow your own book of business while working on the firm's existing high-level caseload
- Oversee complex family law cases from client intake through final resolution (litigation, settlement, or ADR)
- Draft, review, and organize discovery documents, conduct legal research, and represent clients in court hearings, mediations, and negotiations
- Support the firm's robust ADR and Collaborative Divorce practice
- Actively participate in legal organizations, including Houston Young Lawyers, HBA-Family Law Section, and Inns of Court
- Uphold the highest ethical and professional standards in all client interactions
What You Bring
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Texas
- At least 5 years of family law experience handling high-conflict and high-net-worth cases
- Exceptional drafting, research, and organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and conflict-resolution skills in emotionally charged situations
- A proactive, collaborative approach with the ability to work independently
- Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to last-minute changes
