- Oversee all pre-construction activities, including project feasibility studies, budgeting, estimating, scheduling, and risk assessments.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, and project teams to define project scope and optimize construction strategies.
- Lead and mentor a team of estimators, pre-construction managers, and coordinators, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all pre-construction efforts.
- Develop and refine cost models, leveraging industry data and market trends to enhance estimating precision.
- Conduct detailed value engineering analyses to optimize project costs without compromising quality or design intent.
- Ensure seamless handoff of projects from pre-construction to operations, supporting the transition with detailed documentation and project strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to ensure competitive pricing and reliable execution.
- Drive continuous improvement in pre-construction processes, incorporating technology and industry best practices.

- 10 years of experience in pre-construction, estimating, or project management within a large general contracting environment.
- Strong background in commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and high-rise residential construction.
- Proven leadership experience managing pre-construction teams and collaborating with key stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of South Florida’s construction market, including local subcontractor networks and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in estimating software (e.g., ProEst, WinEst, On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam) and project management tools.
- Exceptional financial acumen, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence key decision-makers.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field (preferred).
