Job Description

Builders Fence Company, the premier provider of fence and deck solutions in Northern Virginia, and Montgomery County, MD seeks self-starting, results oriented and highly independent and motivated individuals to join our Sales team.

Performs a variety of functions related to selling and servicing both residential and commercial accounts on fence and deck solutions for the Montgomery County, MD territory. Responsible for developing and maintaining customer relationships within the Montgomery County, MD area. Manage leads to maximize sales volume and revenue targets.

Key Responsibilities :

Serve as the primary point of contact and liaison between the client and the company on all sales-related issues.
Develop, present and sell external home improvement solutions (fences, deck)
Build and maintain positive client relationships and obtain client referrals and reviews
Develop construction drawings for projects to hand off to the production department using company software.
Meet and exceed sales objectives on a monthly basis
Daily reporting of sales activities and opportunities
Cultivate new opportunities via referrals, networking and canvassing
Prepare and conduct presentations for customers

Qualifications :

Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, relates well to people of all backgrounds.

Exceptional communicator-verbal and written.

Strong client service orientation

Takes ownership of leads and manages them to a final buying decision.

Focused attention to detail on all paperwork and communications.

Able to work independently with excellent multi-tasking, time management and organizational skills.

Readily adjusts and adapts to seasonal sales volumes (peak period is from March-July)

Ability to work well with a diverse staff; demonstrate respect and integrity.

Ability to network with individuals and organizations to generate leads.

Must own and maintain reliable transportation.

2-5 years prior sales experience preferred (construction / home improvement or other Outside Sales).

Compensation :

Highly competitive compensation package including Training Pay, Commissions paid weekly, Fuel Allowance, Health / Dental Insurance, Bonus Opportunities
