About the Role:
As a Fence Estimator, you’ll receive full training to conduct site visits, take measurements, and gather project details. You will not be responsible for calculations, but you will be the key person collecting the necessary information to generate accurate quotes. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors, meeting new people, and learning valuable skills in the fencing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Visit properties to take accurate measurements and assess project details.
- Record site conditions and gather all necessary information for preparing quotes.
- Communicate with clients to understand their fencing needs and explain available options.
- Input all collected data into the project management tool immediately after each site visit.
- Work closely with the office team to ensure accurate quotes are generated.
- Act as a bridge between English-speaking clients and Spanish-speaking crews.
- Follow up with potential customers and maintain strong client relationships.
Requirements:
- No prior industry experience necessary
- Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn.
- Highly organized and comfortable using a project management tool.
- Fluent in English and able to communicate in Spanish (Spanish fluency not required).
- Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple appointments.
- Comfortable working outdoors and interacting with homeowners.
Pay:
Base salary bonuses & commission after training
3-Month Training Period at $20 per hour. You’ll receive full training to ensure you’re confident in your role. After the training period, you will immediately become eligible to earn up to $25 per hour base play plus bonuses and commission based on performance!
