Summary of the role:
The Actuarial intern will learn about commercial property and liability coverages and the fundamentals of the actuarial functions. Key concepts will include learning
What would be your day in the life at Builders?
- Rate level indications
- Quarterly reserving analysis
- Rate relativity analysis
- Analysis of underwriting predictive model
- Rate filing support
Qualifications
What skills will you need?
- Quantitative and analytical skills
- Communication
- Time management
- 1 or more actuarial exams passed (preferred but not required)
- Experience in Microsoft Excel
