Job Title : Security and Compliance Analyst
Compensation : $80,000-$100,000
Location : Omaha, NE - Hybrid
The job :
As a Security and Compliance Analyst with our Enterprise Technology team, you’ll be the driving force behind our security strategy and ensure the safety and integrity of our IT systems, making sure we meet compliance standards and stay one step ahead of risks. You’ll have a direct impact on our organization’s ability to work safely and efficiently, all while collaborating with key stakeholders. It’s a role where your expertise will be felt throughout Buildertrend, helping us keep our operations smooth and secure.
What you will do :
Assist in implementing Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) standards (e.g. ISO 27001).
Monitor vulnerabilities and indicators of attack / compromise (IoA / IoC) and escalate to relevant teams to minimize business impact.
Interface with existing and prospective customers on security audits and inquiries.
Participate in internal and facilitate external audits and penetration tests for all compliance requirements.
Participate in interviews with auditors in SSAE 18 (Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements).
Monitor and respond to security and compliance-related alerts.
Monitors and reviews security logs.
Support security reviews for software releases.
Participate in the Incident Response Team when an incident is detected as defined by the Incident Response Plan.
Stay informed and summarize new sources of information on current and emerging laws, rules, regulations, and industry practices related to information technology security and compliance.
Assist security and legal teams with state and federal authorities requiring information and reports on security incidents.
Who you are and what you need :
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or cyber security.
3 years of experience as a Security and Compliance Analyst.
Experience in IT security, auditing, and compliance in a corporate systems environment of a similar size.
Proficient with SIEM (security information and event management) technologies.
Experience in information technology security with an understanding of GRC principles.
Experience with IDS / IPS, vulnerability scanning, and web application firewalls (WAFs).
Familiarity with penetration testing and red team and blue team best practices.
