JOB TITLE: Construction Mechanic/Small Tools Manager
REPORTS TO: Equipment Manager
SUMMARY: Performs regularly scheduled maintenance of heavy construction equipment in shop and on job sites. Manages Small Tools for the Company. Maintains safety and professionalism at all times.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Repair as per prioritized lists: mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
- Perform regularly scheduled maintenances of heavy construction equipment at shop and on job sites.
- Manage Small Tools for job sites and projects.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- One-year certificate from college or technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Clean driving record.
- Commitment to excellence and high standards.
- Maintain and promote safety education and certifications.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and workflow as assigned by Equipment Manager.
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to understand any and all safety requirements and cautions.
- Ability to perform the physical labor necessary.
