Community & Leader Development Executive Administrator
Position Summary
The Community & Leader Development Executive Administrator provides high-level administrative support to the Director of Community & Leader Development, ensuring seamless daily operations and strategic project execution within a gospel-centered, urban ministry context. This role involves a mix of clerical and hands-on work, including, but not limited to managing the Director’s schedule, coordinating meetings and events, handling communications, ordering supplies, liaising with other departments and ministries, and tracking expenses. Beyond traditional administrative tasks, the Executive Administrator plays a key role in facilitating initiatives, managing projects, and anticipating needs to enhance efficiency and ministry impact. Success in this role requires exceptional organizational skills, proactive problem-solving, and a high level of social and emotional intelligence to navigate relationships and support leadership in fostering a Christ-centered, engaged community.
Position Details
- Full-time, exempt position (40 hours per week)
- Primary work location is in-office, with some local travel within the community and some hybrid work opportunities
- Reports to the Director of Community & Leader Development
Primary Job Duties
- Manage appointment schedule, including meetings and travel
- Produce, compile, print and/or edit information, documents, emails, and spreadsheets as requested
- Purchase supplies or materials and compile and prepare supporting documentation
- Prepare check request for vendors and independent contractors
- Track ministry expenses and budgets
- Research and coordinate special projects as assigned
- Coordinate and deliver supplies and/or goods as requested for projects and meetings
- Attend and support functions as assigned
- Maintain confidentiality and protect organizational operations by keeping sensitive information confidential
- Assist with the organization of files (digital & hard copy) and work spaces
- Participate in BHITC staff meetings and Community Development and Leader Development team meetings
- Participate in meetings with community and ministry partners as requested by the Director, or upon your request and the approval of the Director
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Previous experience in administrative roles with strong organizational and planning skills, excellent time-management skills, and ability to multitask and prioritize work
- College degree in related field preferred
- Strong computer skills, including the use of software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, Basecamp, and Canva
- Proficient experience with scanning, copying, and printing documents in various formats and sizes
- Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle
