Job Overview
BOMA of Greater Tucson is a leading commercial real estate association dedicated to advancing the interests of property professionals through advocacy, education, and networking. Our mission is to support our members by providing valuable industry resources, fostering professional growth, and strengthening the commercial real estate community.
BOMA of Greater Tucson is seeking an experienced and dynamic Executive Director to lead the organization and drive its mission forward. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall strategic, financial, and operational management of the association. This role requires a strong leader who can engage with members, oversee programs, manage financials, and represent BOMA in the broader real estate community.
This is a part-time position; weekly hours may vary, but average between 20-30 hours per week. While most of the position is remote, this position will be required to attend membership meetings and events located in Tucson, AZ.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Engagement: Build relationships with current and prospective members, ensuring a high level of engagement and satisfaction.
- Event & Program Management: Oversee planning and execution of educational programs, networking events, and special events.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the association’s budget, financial planning, and fundraising efforts, ensuring long-term sustainability.
- Board & Committee Support: Work closely with the Board of Directors and committees to align operations with organizational goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in nonprofit management, association leadership, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of the commercial real estate industry (preferred but not required).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience with financial management, sponsorships, and fundraising.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
