Key Responsibilities
Scheduling & Coordination
- Develop and maintain daily and weekly schedules for millwork production
- Ensure proper staffing levels and align schedules with workload demands
- Adjust schedules based on operational needs, order changes, or material availability
- Collaborate with production, logistics, and sales teams to align schedules with business needs
- Monitor production timelines and resolve scheduling conflicts or delays
- Ensure that work is scheduled to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
- Communicate schedules and any changes or updates to relevant teams
- Maintain accurate records of production timelines, workforce allocation, and job completion
- Provide reports on schedule adherence, capacity planning, and efficiency
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in operations management, Supply Chain, or a related field is a plus)
- Experience in scheduling, production planning, or logistics (preferably in millwork, manufacturing, or construction)
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple schedules effectively
- Ability to analyze workload demands and optimize scheduling
- Proficiency in scheduling software, Excel, and ERP systems is a plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Must reside in the Sioux Falls metro area and have reliable transportation
