Key Responsibilities
- Track supply and demand for millwork and building materials, identifying trends and anticipating inventory needs.
- Source new products and materials and gather pricing information to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
- Collaborate with vendors and millwork production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain accurate ERP data, including product compliance and item setup.
- Develop reports to identify performance trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Recommend solutions to improve inventory turns, reduce waste, and optimize deliveries.
- Support purchasing decisions through data analysis and cross-functional coordination.
- Work closely with manufacturing and operations teams to align material flow with production timelines.
- Negotiate vendor pricing and monitor contract compliance specific to millwork products.
Qualifications & Skills
- Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or relevant experience in purchasing/logistics.
- Experience or background in millwork, cabinetry, doors, or trim materials preferred.
- Strong data management and analysis skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and ERP platforms.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Clear and professional communication skills, especially when working with vendors and internal teams.
- Understanding of manufacturing or distribution operations related to building materials.
- Ability to analyze problems, recommend solutions, and drive implementation collaboratively.
