Description :
Location : In-Factory (Forest City, NC)
Role : The Maintenance Manager will lead the maintenance department in our fully automated production facility. This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of our automated systems and machinery. The Maintenance Manager will report directly to the Plant Manager and will be responsible for the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs, resource management, and staff training to ensure a smooth and efficient production process.
Key responsibilities :
Preventive Maintenance :
- Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure all machinery and equipment are operating at peak performance.
Resource Management :
Ensure adequate resources, including personnel, tools, and equipment, are available to support continuous production and maintenance activities. Coordinate with other departments to align maintenance schedules with production needs.Training and Development :
Lead the training and development of maintenance personnel, ensuring they are well-versed in the latest technologies and maintenance practices specific to our automated systems and machinery.Inventory and Spare Parts Coordination :
Collaborate with engineers to identify critical spare parts for machinery. Work closely with stockroom personnel to ensure these items are properly stocked and available, supporting maintenance activities and minimizing potential production disruptions.Compliance and Safety :
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards, company policies, and industry regulations. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the maintenance team.Reporting and Documentation :
Prepare regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and downtime analysis. Use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize maintenance practices.Collaboration :
Work closely with the Plant Manager and other department heads to coordinate maintenance activities with production schedules and objectives. Provide technical support and expertise in troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field is preferred.Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management within a high-automation manufacturing environment, preferably in the automotive or construction technology industries.Proven experience in developing and implementing maintenance schedules and programs from scratch, demonstrating a proactive approach to preventive maintenance.Strong knowledge of automated systems, machinery, and equipment used in modern production facilities.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Ability to analyze data and use it to drive improvements in maintenance processes and equipment performance.Familiarity with safety regulations and industry standards related to maintenance and production environments.Why join us?
